Dear Colleague’s and Friends,

On behalf of the Organizing Committee we cordially invite you to attend the 29th Meeting of the Scandinavian Society of Anaesthesia and Intensive Care, SSAI, to be held September 5-8, 2007, in Göteborg, Sweden.

The coming Nordic meeting will be co-hosted by the SSAI and the Swedish Society of Anaesthesia and Intensive Care Medicine (SFAI), in collaboration with the Sahlgrenska University Hospital and hospitals in the Region.

The meeting venue will be the Göteborg Convention Centre in the heart of the city. Our aim is to provide an environment in which all can experience the ‘cutting edge’ in our field related both to clinical and research advances, presented in a wide range of formats including panel discussions, keynote lectures, workshops, and poster and oral abstract presentations.

The meeting will provide an opportunity for colleagues from all parts of Scandinavia, as well as other parts of the world, to meet old friends, make new contacts, discuss science, develop new ideas, and at the same time enjoy the special ambience of the Swedish west coast, the North Sea, and the warmth hospitality of your hosts.

We look forward to seeing you, and welcoming you to Göteborg in September, 2007.
